Operation Christmas Child

Donate love-filled shoeboxes to be delivered by Samaritan's Purse to children all over the world bringing the good news of the Gospel to children that are not aware that they are loved, especially by God.

Operation Teddy Bear

Collect stuffed animals to be delivered to Orphanages around the world.

 

Rainbow Network (Nicaragua)

Monetary; Helping the poor communities in Nicaragua through providing food, shelter, medical needs and education.

Monetary; to help Teach individuals how to setup and run a business to be able to provide for their family.

TLC Orphanage (South Africa)

Adult Mission Trip

GUMC went to the Katrina hit Gulf Coast October, 2008.  GUMC also sent an Adult Mission team to New Orleans in October, 2009.  Both were wonderful opportunities to help those in need and rediscover God's goodness!   Be sure to stay tuned for the Adult 2010 Mission Trip.

 

Youth Mission Trips

Support our youth as they go out and be the Hands and Feet of our Lord Jesus Christ. Our youth undertake annual mission trips to locations in Virginia and other states to provide home renovation labor and Christian fellowship. Please see Our Youth Page for more information.

All God's Children Camp

Week long camp for children ages 7-11 whose moms are incarcerated. We provide camp supplies, as well as monetary donations to enable a child to attend camp.

American Red Cross Blood Drives

Please see our News page for more information on our Blood Drives.

Angel Tree

Provide Christmas gifts to local organizations for families who otherwise would not be able to enjoy the true gift of Christmas, giving, as our Lord Jesus Christ was given to us.

 

Baby Blankets

Make baby blankets for local hospitals to be given to families who don't have anything to take their new baby home in.

 

Internal Ministries

Provide members of our congregation with Transportation when needed for Dr's appointments, shopping, etc.

Care packages for victims (Prince William and Fauquier Hospitals).

SERVE

Food donations. SERVE is a non-profit emergency assistance organization that serves Prince William County and cities of Manassas and Manassas Park.

The BARN

Provides transitional housing and access to support services, including job skills training and education and counseling as a means of helping homeless women and their children achieve healing, growth and self-sufficiency. The BARN is part of our Angel tree. We also provide school supplies at the beginning of the school year and monetary donations.
